FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH

Sumrall is a small but rapidly growing town in South Mississippi. Schools are busting at the seams as well as the local churches. First Baptist Church had the great problem of having too many bodies, but not enough efficient space to place everyone. Colony Construction was lucky enough to be called on to help take some very large and inefficient spaces in the church and create a beautiful and modern Youth Room to catch the students attention. The three month-long renovation captured 3,250 square feet as the main worship area featured an upstairs with a balcony overlook, an enclosed sound booth, a kitchen, and five small group classrooms. The sound system in the worship area ties in to all of the lighting systems to create a concert like environment week-in and week-out for the ever growing town of Sumrall.
